RCG Law Group Announces Joey Carlson as Equity Partner
Leadership Team Grows with Shared Commitment to Values, Vision, and Client-Centered Care
South Jordan, UT – RCG Law Group is thrilled to announce that Joey Carlson has officially become an equity partner, effective Wednesday, May 7, 2025. This exciting step marks both a celebration of Joey’s leadership and a continuation of the firm’s growth under the guiding vision of founder Ryan C. Gregerson.
Joey Carlson brings a unique blend of business and legal experience to the partnership, with over 12 years practicing law and more than two decades of professional experience as an attorney, entrepreneur, and executive. His journey into family law was both intentional and personal—rooted in his own experience navigating divorce. That perspective inspired him to serve others with empathy, strategy, and clarity.
“I chose family law because I knew what it was like to go through it myself,” Carlson said. “The legal process is only one part of a much bigger life transition. Clients need someone who can walk with them through all of it—the practical, the emotional, and the future-building pieces too.”
That client-centered approach is what led Joey to RCG Law Group. “I was actively searching for a law firm that lived its values—not just on paper, but in how it treats clients and employees,” he shared. “When I found RCG, I saw something special. At the core of Carlson’s leadership is his own family. A devoted father of four, Joey says his children are his greatest source of joy and his motivation for practicing with integrity and care. “Family is everything to me. That’s why I treat every client’s case with the same level of dedication I’d want for my own.”
A proud third-generation native of Price, in Carbon County, Utah, Joey brings deep local roots and a broad vision for the future. One of his goals as partner is to help RCG Law Group become the preeminent family law firm in the Western United States. “We’re building something that’s both deeply human and highly effective,” he said. “With the right systems, the right technology, and the right people—we can serve clients better than anyone else.”
