Jamin Seegrist

Jamin Seegrist brings a diverse background in education, languages, and law to his work as a family law attorney. Before entering the legal field, Jamin spent several years as a Spanish teacher, where he developed a talent for clear communication and connecting with people from all walks of life—skills that now serve him well in guiding clients through challenging legal issues.

Jamin earned his Juris Doctor from Appalachian School of Law on a full-tuition scholarship, graduating with honors (Cum Laude). He excelled academically, finishing at the top of his class in Criminal Procedure, Employment Law, Insurance Law, and Federal Sentencing. During law school, he interned in personal injury law, further broadening his legal foundation.

He later worked at Utah Legal Services, where he represented hundreds of clients in divorce, custody, protective orders, and stalking injunction matters. His time there gave him extensive courtroom and trial experience, along with a deep understanding of the real-life impact these legal issues have on individuals and families. Jamin’s calm, clear approach helps clients feel supported and informed throughout their cases.

Jamin’s passion for language and culture enriches his perspective as an attorney. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education from Southern Utah University, where he received a merit scholarship for language mastery and completed study abroad programs in both Spain and China. He is fluent in Spanish, conversational in French, and still dabbles in learning Mandarin Chinese. He also served a two-year mission in Mexico, deepening his connection to the Spanish-speaking community.

Outside the office, Jamin enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, working on creative projects, and making pottery. He’s an avid learner with a love for the outdoors and a lifelong curiosity about languages and culture.
