Jean Marie Hackett

Jean Marie brings a strong litigation background to RCG Law. A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and Amherst College, she began her career at Skadden Arps in Boston. Her Big Law experience provided a foundation in rigorous advocacy she now applies in Utah.

While at Flemming Zulack Williamson Zauderer LLP in New York, Jean Marie remained steeped in business litigation but also discovered a knack for the nuances of family law. This commitment earned her the Sanctuary for Families “Above and Beyond” Award for pro bono advocacy. In recent years, she has gained experience in the realm of Utah family law. Jean Marie also earned an MFA in Writing and Literature from Bennington College; this layered experience gives her a distinct edge in drafting persuasive prose and helping clients articulate their stories.

Now a member of the Utah Bar, Jean Marie endeavors to provide RCG Law clients the same level of tenacity and care she has delivered throughout her career. Away from her laptop, she enjoys hot yoga, skiing, CrossFit, and The Paris Review. She loves her dogs and watching her son ride his horse, Griffin.
