Attorney
Dena then received her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree (JD) from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa. During law school, Dena clerked for the late Honorable Judge Joel Novak, worked in the mediation clinic to mediate for low-income family law clients and interned at the Uinta County Attorney’s Office in Wyoming. Before attending law school, Dena attended Brigham Young University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Logic.
Dena assists clients in all matters of family law–divorce and separation, child custody and child support, property division, asset division, retirement division and alimony. Dena has experience with modifications of custody and parent time plans and enforcement of existing orders. Dena also handles protective orders and domestic violence issues. Dena understands that cases involving families and especially children can take a toll–physically, emotionally and financially. She brings compassion and knowledge to guide you effectively through any challenges your circumstances may have. Whether it is aggressively defending her clients in the court room, or finding workable solutions for all parties, Dena works hard to ensure that your case focuses on those issues that are most important to you.
Dena’s family life is a “His, Mine, and Ours” kind of situation and she has loved forming and uniting her family with her husband’s. She enjoys taking on home improvement projects and spending time outdoors with her children.
