Dena understands that cases involving families and especially children can take a toll – physically, emotionally and financially. Dena assists clients in all matters of family law – divorce and separation, child custody and child support, property division, asset division, retirement division and alimony. Dena has experience with modifications of custody and parent time plans and enforcement of existing orders. Dena also handles protective orders and domestic violence issues.
Dena attended Brigham Young University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a minor in Logic. Dena then received her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree (JD) from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa. During law school, Dena clerked for the late Honorable Judge Joel Novak, worked in the mediation clinic to mediate for low income family law clients and interned at the Unita County Attorneys Office in Wyoming.
